After listening carefully to the homeowner’s wish list, the design program and goal was to create a modern, luxurious, and functional kitchen that looked stunning and felt timeless, welcoming, and warm, and reflected the homeowners lifestyle and surrounding rural and scenic landscape.

A Well-Designed Kitchen Island
There is a beautiful kitchen island taking center stage that acts as a multi-functional area providing additional workspace, lots more hidden storage, a large sink and cleaning zone, and a large eating counter space for stools that acts as a central gathering spot for family and social entertaining.
Modern kitchens in large open space plans often lack a window at the perimeter kitchen walls – so placing the main sink on a large kitchen island is a wonderful and popular solution. It boosts workflow efficiency, creates a social hub for interacting with guests or family members while working, frees up perimeter counter space for other items, and enhances the kitchen's contemporary aesthetic. The island sink lets the homeowner look out into an open area with its wonderful outdoor views.
